Ongoing dance program.
We offer an ongoing dance program for children and teenagers. Sessions take place at IB GYM and Dance studio on Tirupati Mazima mall in Kabalagala on Ggabba road – Kampala. The primary dance umbrella is urban dance styles (breakdance, popping, locking, hiphop new style, house, pop, afro and more). We also offer African traditional and other dance styles on request. Classes are open for ages 3-19 years, grouped as follows; 3-6years / 7-10years / 11-14years / 15-19years with each group made of minimum three and maximum ten students, taught at different times for a duration of 45min -1 hour. Longer sessions can be arranged on request. Charges are as follow; 40,000ugx per person each sessions (one off lessons or inconsistent sessions) 150,000ugx (four sessions in 4 weeks) 300,000ugx (eight sessions in 4 weeks). This package is for organizations, schools and similar groups who may want unique projects for a specific period of time occasionally, such as;
1. An organization having children/teenagers in her care and want external facilitators to work with that audience to reach an objective over a period of time.
2. A group of students or school that may want an exchange program with another organization, school or community, and need experienced facilitators to design activities, be present and assist during the exchange to make sure students get the very best from that process.
3. A group of children and teenagers’ educators who may want to add on more tools and teaching styles on what they already have.
4. An organization reaching out to children and teenagers in a certain community and would like to work with or through a team of creative and experienced facilitators to get results.
5. Events where the owner may need a team of experienced and professional children and teenagers’ facilitators to design and deliver such activities to their group.
Charges and other details are discussed with the client after thorough communication on the nature of the project. Charges may change from client to client, depending on materials required, location among other factors. We are offering a good number of engaging activities to support the holistic development of a child.
Individual parents, homeschooling groups, schools, organizations and other forms of communities whose purpose is to fully develop children are welcome to work with us.
We are able to join an existing program and bring more activities to it or can fully plan, implement and manage a program on behalf of another institution.
Arts based: dance, music, singing, beatboxing/vocal percussion, Djing & music production, paper crafts, poetry, drawing & illustration, writing and many more..
Sports based: gymnastics, acrobatics, yoga, soccer, basketball, rugby, athletics, monkeynastics, football and many more…
Others include technology, improvisation activities among others.
We organize events following up such activities to create opportunities for participants to share with others what they would have learned and developed.
Physical Education Programs
We believe that physical activity has countless benefits towards our all round well-being as people. We embrace the many good effects it has on us as individuals, in terms of developing our abilities to perform outstandingly in single and team sports, and we work to uplift that area. Also, we focus on uplifting how physical activity can improve our social well-being and enable us to grow abilities that can help us so much in our social lives, for-example in relationships with others and with ourselves.
When it comes to young children, we start shinning the light by engaging them in ways and language they know and understand best, PLAY!
We use all types of material to make sure that children participate and enjoy while learning key life lessons; being kind, sharing, working well with others, contributing, supporting others, setting goals, keeping on and more.
Our program has activities addressing all areas of fitness; cardiovascular,endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, body composition and muscular endurance.
These include Dance, Creative-movement, Yoga, Acrobatics, Gymnastics, Monkeynastics, Athletics, Aerobics, Capo-era, Breakletics, Soccer, Football, Basketball, Street soccer and more.
